The Proxenia Foundation is registered as a charitable organization with the State of Florida and is committed to full transparency with the public it serves.

A copy of the official registration and financial information may be obtained from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services by calling 1-800-HELP-FLA (435-7352) toll-free within the state or by visiting www.fdacs.gov. Registration does not imply endorsement, approval, or recommendation by the state.

Federal Tax-Exempt Status

The Proxenia Foundation has applied for recognition of tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. That application is currently pending with the IRS.

Until exempt status is granted, contributions to the Foundation may not be tax-deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. Donors should consult their tax advisor regarding the deductibility of any contribution.

Public Benefit & Use of Funds

The Proxenia Foundation operates exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. No part of the net earnings of the Foundation shall inure to the benefit of any private individual. All resources are applied solely to the Foundation’s charitable and educational mission.
