Programs

Programs that put hospitality knowledge to work.

The Proxenia Foundation develops programs that connect hospitality experience with entrepreneurship, research, education and community resources. Each program has a specific purpose, but all of them are built around the same responsibility: make useful knowledge easier to share, apply and carry forward.

Foundation Pillar 01

Stewardship starts with the knowledge and relationships already present in the region.

Central Florida already has exceptional hospitality expertise alongside entrepreneurs, technologists, educators, researchers, investors and institutions. The Foundation helps make those resources more accessible to the people and projects that can put them to good use.

Active · Founder Development

Proxenia Accelerator

The Proxenia Accelerator helps startups serving hospitality strengthen their businesses through structured development, industry perspective and access to experienced practitioners.

Founders test assumptions, improve their understanding of the market, build evidence behind their decisions and prepare for the relationships and investment required to move forward.

  • Business model and market validation
  • Hospitality operator and SME perspective
  • Traction, funding and investor preparation

Building · Mentorship & Expertise

Proxenos Mentor Network

Proxenos is being developed as an ongoing network of experienced operators, entrepreneurs, technologists, investors and specialists who can contribute their knowledge across the Foundation’s work.

The network will support founders, research, education and future programs while creating a durable way for practitioners to remain involved beyond a single event, introduction or cohort.

Foundation Pillar 02

The Foundation gives useful knowledge a structure that can be shared and repeated.

Individual relationships matter, but programs, research and documented knowledge allow what is learned in one conversation to benefit people who were never in the room.

Active · Research & Insights

Research & Insights

The Foundation examines the forces changing hospitality and translates what it learns into useful knowledge for industry leaders, entrepreneurs, educators and the broader community.

Analysis, interviews, briefings and deeper research projects help document what is changing, identify important questions and connect those questions with people capable of acting on them.

How new programs become part of the portfolio

New programs begin with an identifiable need and are tested before becoming permanent parts of the Foundation’s work. The Foundation commits to an ongoing program when there is evidence that it is useful, capable partners to help deliver it and a sustainable way to support it.

Foundation Pillar 03

Useful programs should be able to outlast the moment that created them.

The Foundation builds for continuity: clear ownership, reliable partnerships, appropriate funding and programs that remain useful enough for people to keep participating in them.
